  1. The Platypus is a semi-aquatic egg laying
  2. MAMMAL. It Lives in Australia and Tasmania.
  3. Also known as the duckbill platypus, it has a
  4. rubbery, duckbill shaped muzzle, no teeth and
  5. no external ears. It's head body and tail are
  6. broad, flat and is covered with dark brown
  7. fur, it's feet are webbed. The adult male is
  8. about 2ft long. The platypus eats small
  9. freshwater animals and lives in burrows along
  10. stream banks.
